A great win. Mainly because we overcame one of the worst team defence games i've seen the Bruins play, we had assists on most of their goals, from stopping playing looking for a penalty, to giving up turnovers in front of our goal.....and yet....and yet....we won.

Anyone who can't experience unremitting joy from this team is really missing out. THIS is why we follow a team - not only talented, but a great bunch of guys who never gave up and have each others backs.

Well the squid put up quite a fight and the Bruins D game was sloppy tonight to say the least, but in the end the Bear enjoyed some delicious calamari.
Now on to devouring some canucks, whatever canucks are,

Huevos are eggs. Cajones are nuts
When I lived and worked in South Texas for two years during the Great Recession, I never once heard anyone use the the word “cajones.”

“Huevos” was the word everyone used for ‘nuts.’

I also know it means “eggs.”

That’s almost all the Spanish I picked up down there. You’d think I’d have learned more.

Interesting. Just shows the regional differences of one language. Thank you for teaching me something new :)

I also spelled it wrong. Cojones is the actual spelling and I heard it first in Spanish class in college

A strange game. But can we expect anything less by a west coast game? The late night lunatic fringe was in full effect.

Can wait for our reinforcements to show up.
We came, we saw, we conquered the Kraken.
Now onto the next one. As always...

You already know the drill!

Also. Jake is just so good. Besos to the ones who doubted!

Yeah. Slang is a funny thing! I had a very interesting time down there. Especially the night I went drinking with the Mexicans.

…And the day after…

I made a lot of great friends down there who I still hear from to this day.

I can't get over how dirty that play by Bjorkstrand was, grabbing Marchand's leg and pulling him while another Krakhead came from behind to pull him down from the neck. Couldve seriously injured him, especially considering he had hip surgery last summer. They both ought to be fined.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Marchand get a game for that kerfuffle with Bjorkstrand.
