Ritchie 4 games 1 goal, 5 shots, 13 hits
Coyle 5 games, 1 assist, 9 shots, 3 hits (all this past game)
Heinen 5 games, 1 goal, 3 shots, 2 hits.

Softie by Bishop.
Ritchie is last year's Donato. He had also 1 goal in 10 games in October only to end up in Providence.

2nd line is looking very good. not producing yet, but pucks will start going in. you can smell the frustration.

but kuhlman looks good, on second or third line. really happy with his progression.

not happy with ritchie. i know it'd take a waiver move, but i'd like to see gaunce get an audition in his space.

I can’t tell whether you’re trolling or serious with this stuff.

Ritchie is replaceable, just posting simple stats. One guy is continually called useless out of the three. Would like Bjork there but he may not be the shooter they need either, maybe Steen, Kuhlman or Senny can be the guy, Kuhlman really seems to like to attempt shots.

Not Joking when I say Vatrano may have been a great option for line 3.

Kid shot from anywhere and could skate.

they def need a selfish shooter there. May have someone within. I would run the cycle with what we have, but if the Devils keep sucking I would really make a huge push for Palmieri. Would be an absolutely perfect Bruin, has another year at a cheap number. Would give up a first, defensive prospect and offensive prospect.

They tried him on the off-wing and it just didn't work. Butch hated his defensive play too. It's a shame because he was a great story and he can really shoot. On LW he simply lost out to Marchand, Debrusk and Heinen

Cehlarik with his skating compared to Ritchie's would look like speedster. Cehlarik had also 2 goals in his very first game last season. After that...

I was hoping for Palmieri last year at the deadline.

He played most of last year on the off wing, especially when Johansson came to town. I don't think it's much of a concern if they can get the right lw in there.

Devils played like a team out of the playoffs with six games left in the season and an interim head coach.

It’s still early, but I was not expecting what I saw tonight after their “go for it” offseason. Ugly.

If I’m Bruce I bag skate the B’s for not winning 13-0.

They stink. (NJ that is)

Are the Devils that bad, or are the Bruins just that good? I think it’s somewhere in between.

Meanwhile Bjork scores tonight and looked good, imagine Heinen-Coyle-Bjork.

Kuhlman, where the f*** did he come from? I’ve been waiting for him to cool down but it hasn’t happened yet. Maybe he can hang with Krejci and Debrusk after all.

Still don’t think that’s the right role for Kuhlman, but he looks good right now, no doubt about it. Did he put on some weight in the offseason? Dude is a bull.

Bruins dissected NJ tonight - very little competition.

Bruins played well and easily could have had several more goals.

I wish Marchand had scored on his breakaway after blocking Subban's shot. Subban is such a punk on the ice.

Many players player well but I thought Chara quietly had a great defensive game aside.

Simply need a 2nd line winger and this team is cemented as a top two or three team with Vegas and Tampa.

As mentioned above that crowd was a bit too quiet for a home opener, regardless of how last season ended.

I’m trying to think of the last Bruin that drove the net like Kuhlman. Every game he has a rush or two where he uses his speed to beat a defenseman to the net. I think he can put up enough points to Ben useful in that spot. If he can put up 15-20 goals while bringing a solid all around game I’ll be happy.
