I dont think the Rants injury will prove serious. He came back in the 2nd after it happened. I suspect it was just soreness and when you're up 7-0 after two periods why not just sit out the 3rd to be extra safe.


You essentially could have just left Landy and Mack in the dressing room for the 3rd as well.

Love the effort and the win today.

However loosing EJ, Rants and to a lesser degree Varly's shutout really, REALLY sucks.

Very bitter sweet

Lost in all this is Varly's confidence getting a boost, as well as looking like he was actually tracking pucks and moving well. Which would be huge for this team.
