It seems like a few teams are hitting a dip or lull at the same time.
Falling behind like this consistently sure isn’t confidence inspiring.

In this division a team can go from 1st to 5th quickly. And with this long road trip coming, it wouldn’t surprise me to see this team fall to 5th.

Oil and Flames tied after 2. If it goes to OT and we lose, we fall immediately into 3rd and are behind Vancouver also in points per game, as they will have 3 in hand and trail us by 2 points.

These guys are still going to get paid no matter who the coach is. They could easily tune out a more intense coach too.

I don’t know about quit on the coach, but they seem to be playing like there’s no repercussions, because if you play like garbage you still play.
It would be a sucky way to end his streak, but personally I sit Wild Bill next game, he’s not the worst out there, but he’s not been near good enough.

How bout get pucks deep and f***ing retrieve it then move our feet to move the defense with some actual f***ing effort. Maybe don't miss the shots wide from 2 feet away from the net. Maybe force Columbus out of parking the bus by having all three forwards crash the net instead of waiting for the perfect pass?

I think we need a “bad guy” as an assistant. They don’t always need a good guy and don’t always need a bad guy, Gallant won’t be the bad guy, but someone needs to let rip.
