TOI will be the bigger identifier of first line.

Having Drouin and Domi together made them clear top line. Secondary scoring slowed considerably and other teams shut that top line out. Julien is looking to balance things out.

Trouble is, Habs don’t have strong enough power play to play dice on our 5 on 5. Hope it works, but doubt it
