game 2 of the playoffs tonite boys. need a win. so, so badly.

one thing i really liked from last night- the 'stache really spread out the ice, saving a big of gas for tonite's even bigger game. there was a reason kassian got more ice last nite than he has all year.

and if michalek is back, you gotta think that means kassian is out. we need speed and scoring against this team, not toughness.

not sure putting lats on the 4th is the right call. he's been fairly decent on that "top" line recently.

I would go with:

Conacher Turris Alfie
Latendresse Zib Silf
Michalek Pageau Condra
Greening Smith Neil

You can roll all four lines almost evenly with potential to score on each line

switch conacher and lats and you got something there.

I cannot stand the Greening - Smith - Neil line. Makes me :pullhair:
They are truly horrible together.

Smith was good with Lats... try that. Or even a Condra on one of the wings makes it better. Greening is always better on the top 3 lines when he's not playing with Neil. Putting him there.

Not against the idea of Conacher on the 1st line though, see how he does

He'll always be slow, last 2 games he's been one of our better players IMO, scored one and made a lot of nice plays, you can't teach hockey IQ like he has, but he's slow, I wonder what PMac will do tonight

I disagree. The play died on his stick too many times last night and he was too slow in getting to the dirty areas/didn't go at all.

I'd rather see him with any centre other than Turris actually. I'd be Ok with him playing with Zib, Pageau or Smith

Not sure if Condra can play the left side but if so, they can switch Greening with Condra and then have Michalek and Greening switch sides.

Greening - JGP - Michalek
Condra - Smith - Neil

makes it a whole lot better imo

Uncle Denis (Marlboro Vodka Man) is an acquired taste. Once you get it though, he's awesome. Gary Galley was great, but Uncle Denis is the most entertaining colour commentator we have ever had.

We can always bring back Gordy Wilson. :shakehead

Or better yet Greg Millen!! Dear gawd!!! I wanted to punch my tv when he came on!:shakehead

Behind you, look out
Conacher / Turris / Michalek - cannot think of a creative name.
Silfverberg/Zibanejad/Alfredsson - Swedesome
Latendresse/JGP/Condra - two french guys and an american
Greening/Smith/Neil - bump and grind

Devils are 6-13-6 in their last 25. Lets end their misery tonight so they can start hoping for another lottery win.
