Way more so the goalies. Against Dallas, the defense let up a season high in high-danger opportunities. Rask was just unbelievable.

All the young D look at the very least serviceable. Lauzon looks like a stud. Pretty insane second round of drafting in 2015 for the bruins.

Whats the ceiling for Grzelcyk? Ryan Ellis seems like a hits-his-ceiling comparable, maybe with better stick work. Incredibly impressive few games from him.

Cassidy deserves a whole lot of credit.

Sooner than later Heinen's snap shot is coming back and Bjork will be netting a few of these. When that happens... watch out.

Doesn’t have the natural skill to be Ellis good. Ellis dominated Junior hockey and the World Juniors as a dynamic offensive player.

Off the top of my head I can’t think of a real good comparison. Darryl Sydor maybe ?!?

I must say, the craziest thing watching these last two games is seeing two 5'9" left shot defenseman deployed as a tandem on the PK...and getting the job done. This is the new NHL.
