Yea. Coyotes played well enough. Gibson was very good. Clean up the mistakes and we should do fine. Face offs were 24 v 25 so color me surprised. 34 SOG. Gibson is good and Keller needs to remember how to finish.

I never played goalie. Actually I didn’t play past 9 years old. Still, I think that Gibson made some tough plays look easy and didn’t get out of position.

Why didn’t Schmaltz get an AHL stint?

I’ve been saying all preseason he looks like sweaty dog ass and it continues tonight. He didn’t play any games since injury. He should be allowed to play in the AHL right? There was no way the GM or coaching staff saw his performance and was like #2ndlinestud right?

He’s either trash or his timing hasn’t caught up, or both.

Top line was great, but the other three were doing sweet f*** all. I imagine Tocc will spend quite a bit of time tinkering those lines until something sticks. Vinnie and Fish had bad games, both were trying too hard. I'd give Hayton his debut against Boston.

We need to get Kessel the puck on the PP. That needs to be our entire focus. We played well, but our weak links were our weak links, as dumb as that sounds. Garland was suspect and all over the place. Gogo was shit. Fischer was acceptable at best. Schmaltz looks rusty as hell. I'd get Hayton in for Garland asap and see what we can get going because that second line looks like trash.
