Any chance Chia is not making any FA splashes because he doesn't think the upcoming season is going to be a decent run, they did play until June and even though it was a half season a lot of guys went over seas.

He is probably just going to use this year to see what a lot of the rookies can do and depending on how it goes wait till the trade deadline .

He is patient and smart with his cap space most mistakes of overpaying guys was a million or less.

Here's why Jerome is a great signing.

We only need him to be second line good, not "the man."

And, more importantly, when the Pens and Bs played right after the deadline debacle, the dude said "F this" and dropped the gloves to stand up for himself as soon as he saw we were going to run him all game. I forgave him THAT SECOND.
