It's not about the offense with having Nash on that line, it's about having two defensive players good enough to cover some ass when Skinner goes all Manny being Manny as can and will happen.

Eventually it'll have to be somewhat about offense. They're not going to let Skinner rot away on a 3rd line that isn't scoring.

I'm willing to bet if Nash continues to struggle like he is offensively, he won't be with Skinner much longer.

Everyone has. Jeanneret pronounced it wrong and everyone took their cue from him. But the Canes PR has been getting recordings of all the players pronouncing their names the way they'd like them to be pronounced.

As much as I like Lavi, it's probably time for him to go there. The guy tends to lose the room after 2-3 seasons. The results are absolutely amazing when he has the room, and he's still basically a legend here still for that reason, but his "best by" date for you guys probably expired some point a couple seasons back.

Don't disagree with you at all there, and frankly I wouldn't mind a Skinner-Lindholm-Dvorak line at some point if Skinner and Lindholm can show they're competent defensively.

Oh, most definitely. To be fair to Laviolette though Homer basically sabotaged him to fail with this roster. Laviolette's coaching style is in direct opposition with this D and goalie personnel.
