So, basically, since 2003-2004, we've had a whopping 4 regulation wins in 35 games.

Most of the time, the games have gone somewhat like this:

Due to the fact that the Flyers possess such goaltending legends as Steve Mason and Ray Emery, I can predict, with the utmost confidence, a score that has miraculously appeared only twice in the above 35 games: 5-1 loss.

Sorry about the late GDT everybody, I didn't notice ZMM's PM until about 15 minutes before I posted this.

Going to be watching this instead of Panthers/Cardinals. Please do not make me regret that decision Hurricanes.

Also, I would like to have 50% off Papa Johns tomorrow, please do not screw that up. Go Hurricanes go.

I'm changing my prediction to a Canes shutout and an immediate thread asking why Khudobin isn't our de-facto starter.

Interesting choice. Though I suppose the Flyers have faced a lot of Ward over the years and it's rarely ended well for the Canes.

Completely forgotten the Flyers grabbed Lecavalier until today.

Probably going to run Cam against the Pens and Caps, both of who he's usually much better against then the Flyers. Good decision to start getting Khudobin some playing time here if we're going to get him any early on.

I'm not feeling the luck of the Anton tonight. With how Ward played Friday, I thought he would've gotten the start.

Agreed, he was extremely solid last game. Now is the time to get points, not give an "early look" at our backup.

If you think playing Khudobin means we have no chance of getting any points? I disagree and think you haven't seen him play much. He's damn good.

I'll put it this way, if this were Peters or basically any other backup we've had since October of 2006 not named Legace I'd be saying "jesus christ what are we doing, Cam at least has a SHOT at getting this thing to OT". I don't really feel that way about Khudobin yet.

I have seen plenty of him. I'm just saying based on Cam's recent performance I would feel more comfortable with him in net.

and I think we have a Hurricanes GDT tradition in the making. just hope it doesn't turn out to be a jinx . and hope he plays well again tonight.

I'm surprised Ward's not starting too but I like what Muller is doing here. it would be so nice to have two goalies fresh and playing well.

I'm pumped again but I'll try not to get too excited about a win until right up to the final buzzer this time unless they're up by at least 5.

It directly conflicts with posting "5-1 loss" in every GDT. Not sure if I approve.

No problem with Khudobin getting the start. Cam is never great against the Flyers. 5-10-3 record with a 3.16 goals-against average in 19 games

It's acceptable as long as the assumption is the legend that is Hainsey scores all 6 goals.

That's a funny way to spell M.T. Knett.

Anton also gets a shutout. M.T. Knett lets in the goal.

Alright so the damn pregame feed just died on Direct TV, I'm sure there's no chance that comes back before the game.
