Damn looking at that is hard. I like fish.
I was going to make a Finding Nemo “MINE” reference, but then I watched the video. That’s truly sad. Those poor fish.Where in the hell are all the seagulls?
Where in the hell are all the seagulls?
Something tells me the seagulls know to GTFO when a hurricane comes through.
So far away.And they ran.
So far away.
The scorching storm - falling flood water left behind the roads of dead fish in North Carolina
Today at 16:23
The fire brigade has flushed fish on the road.
Video: Firefighters clean up highway I-40.
Hurricane Florence has relaxed, but left behind the actual fish-Inferno. The flood water had brought fish far into the hinterland and when the water has now fallen, the fish left behind. Now they're rotten.
At Penderlea, in North Carolina, the fire department was alerted to clean up. Depraved by the firemen, it is terrible.
This meal was in the middle. This meal was left unfinished.

Local residents have also been silent and the spilling of fish to the side of the road is only partially resolved.
Particularly bad is the highway I-40, which was a long stretch of deep water for several days
And they ran.
So far away.
I love you all.Couldn’t get away
Finnish press had an article of the happenstance; calls it 'fish inferno'.
Hirvittävä löyhkä - laskeva tulvavesi jätti jälkeensä tiet täyteen kuolleita kaloja Pohjois-Carolinassa

Wow, that took an unsettling turn.
In fairness, Google Translate put the picture meta text to the translation there too.

I don't know if this un-unsettles anything.

The mosquitoes post-Florence are on another level. Never seen anything like it. Need a blood transfusion after walking from the car to the front door.
Oh my god I live off Lake Wylie and got bit by a mosquito the size of my head in my apartment the other day. My arm swelled, itchiest thing ever. I was pretty much convinced I’d have to chop off my arm to survive. The mosquitoes post-Florence are on another level. Never seen anything like it. Interesting that you say this. I grew up in Idaho, and from my memory the mosquitoes there are much larger than they are here, leaving welts that are much larger and a produce an aggravating itch which lasts for more than a day. Contract to here, where both the mosquitoes and welts seem smaller, and the itch is barely noticeable and doesn't last. However, childhood memories are often "oversized", so I've often wondered if there really isn't a difference to the ones we find here.Oh my god I live off Lake Wylie and got bit by a mosquito the size of my head in my apartment the other day. Australian outback >>>>>>>The Mosquito Scale (from personal experience:
That one day of summer they get in Maine > The evening on your lawn in Vermont > Any time on the Delmarva Peninsula >>>> North Carolina
The good news...
