All along I've been thinking about how a 6x6 was a good expectation for getting a top flight goalie. It's something the Flames have lacked in a long time and are going into next season with a strong goalie tandem. Just gives a really strong look in net while while leaving 10.9 million to re-up Mangi and Kylington. If you get Brodie back or another top pairing d-man, you won't be able to upgrade your forwards which is rough.

not that bad...year 5 the buyout is 9.669 versus 8 if it was straight salary and in year 6 its 4.83 versus 4
