What the NHL should do..

Cancel remaining games for all teams that have played at least 71 games (most played in NHL at the moment) but leave the start of NHL Playoffs intact for now.

Teams that haven't played 71 games will make up their games just prior to the playoffs. Any teams in a true tie (all tiebreakers are even) for a playoff spot will have a 1 game playoff to get in.

Oh and to anyone saying they should just cancel entirely and start in the Fall...f*** THAT.

I'd rather postpone and then shorten the next season and start a month later. Don't throw away everything these players have worked for so far this season all because you're worried about starting next season. Next season would be a clean slate for everyone regardless of when it starts.
