CZE government just declared state of emergency due to the virus - for the next 30 days, grocery shops and restaurants will only be open until 8pm, no events with more than 10 participants can take place (both public AND private). This also includes variety of activities in culture (theatres, cinemas, artistic events), expos, fairs, educational events, wellness/spas, public transport. CZE is closed for any FOREIGNERS arriving from countries "at risk" - such as Italy, Austria, Germany, ... We are currently at 94 cases, 0 deaths. (population of 10 million)

Not sure what will happen in the next few hours. (maybe pornhub will have some offers too? )
So basically as Italy, but without quarantined cities and overburdened hospitals, huh?

Seems like it, prime minister (boooo) said a few minutes ago "speaking about putting whole cities on quarantine is premature now".
And I am almost sure our hospitals would fold as quickly as the Italian ones do

Gotcha, thanks. That's what I had seen too but didnt see an official announcement from WFC

Wells Fargo Center closed Thursday for cleaning

Wells Fargo Center, home of the Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers, closed for cleaning on Thursday after an NBA player tested positive for coronavirus.
That player, later identified by multiple reports as Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert, was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday evening, forcing the NBA to suspend its season.

Gobert and his teammates were in Oklahoma City on Wednesday for Utah's game against the Thunder. The Jazz played the Pistons in Detroit on Saturday. The Pistons were in Philadelphia for a game Wednesday against the Sixers, a connection that prompted the closure of Wells Fargo Center. Teams that played against Utah in the past 10 days have been asked to self-quarantine, according to ESPN.

The closure and cleaning of the facility is out of an abundance of caution. The Sixers suspended their basketball operations minutes after their game against Detroit on Wednesday, despite the league reportedly telling teams that they are still allowed to practice.

The NHL is expected to decide Thursday on the future of its season. The Flyers are on the road with a scheduled game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday evening, while the next scheduled Flyers home game is Saturday at 1 p.m.

Country artists Dan + Shay were scheduled to perform at the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday evening. That show has been postponed. No decision has been made on scheduled events beyond Thursday, including the Billie Eilish concert scheduled for Friday.

UK, Finland and the Netherlands are probably the three places right now who are most "relaxed".

I guess that changes soon... apparently they think that waiting longer will help and other places are jumping the gun based on what know from Chinese areas outside of Wuhan.

They are either going to look very silly or very clever.

We have some of the lowest # of hospital beds in Europe per person... and a health service that has been systematically dismantled over the last 10 years without real alternatives... so it is an interesting risk to take.

Scotland just announced measures including no public gatherings... did not wait for "English" parliament on it because it would be "inappropriate to carry on as normal".
