Well that’s why he’s not the main part of the deal. Just salary going back the other way. With the cap and how many teams are near or at the cap almost any team is going to be taking back in a deal involving picks during the year.

Lindholm is light years ahead of Fowler and I don’t think RNH + is enough to pry him.

But when you trade someone like Hall, at a minimum you need to get a Larsson, a top prospect forward, and a draft pick in return - when you don't, when it's a one for a lesser one, way lesser one - then it is YOUR fault.

Management has gotten much better at shifting the blame since the days when it was just Lowe and Mactavish. It was tough enough to figure out who was responsible for things back then. It’s impossible now.
