Out of curiosity, would you in fact be permitted into the game with this on? Do they actually police for that kind of thing?

I'm not sure. I think you can go through security with your jacket on, so they'd never see the back of the jersey, but I suppose they could try to escort you out during the game, which would be lame.

Ask the guy and his young son who were detained by security in the bowels of Rexall Place a couple years ago for wearing a jersey with “Trade Lowe” on the back what they think, lol. I am curious though if that applies to Chiarelli or just the OBC guys.

Everybody comes from behind against hapless Detroit. Its almost a certainty the Oilers will be thinking the same.

Fans should burn their tickets. Just don't go.

Never gonna happen in a hockey market like Edmonton which makes Katz more of an idiot.
You have a passionate and loyal fanbase that sells out every single year and still attend games, even though the team you own sucks ass. Imagine how much more money you would make as the Owner if your team was successful in the playoffs. But nah, Katz is too busy living the dream trying to blackmail 2nd rate actresses and issuing lame ass apology letters to the fanbase every year. I'd rather have Pocklington as the owner.

If I’m not mistaken, printed tickets are a thing of the past now. You can’t burn them even if you wanted to. Just another joy the Oilers have taken away.

heh

True that, I guess we can still burn tickets figuratively. heh, does the ticketmaster app allow you to delete tickets permanently? I doubt you could even do that and if you tried there would be prompts why you are doing this.

I watched all of the NFL game, cheering the Patriots, and switching channels during commercials and time delays to watch the Oilers latest carnage. I live in a winter city, Edmonton, its dark long hours, less to do, and NHL games are not even compelling because of the Oilers. The present team does not even perform this one modicum of service of giving some distraction on a Sunday evening.

I watched the patriots game, flipped to the Oilers game when it was over. I saw the score and just flipped to the Milos Roanic match in the Australian Open. There are other things to watch on TV. Just have to make the effort to kick the habit.

Probably the most frustrating and upsetting game of the year. Same boat as the Flames/VGK weekend that got TMac fired. Can Talbot ever make the first save of the game? Does he need to be known for this?

How do we look worse under Hitch than we did under TMac? Team just looks clueless in every zone all the time.

I don't want that fool trading anything for help. Nothing. Rather run with what we have until the summer and have someone competent make a trade than ChiaFool.

It was strange that the team would be so inconsistent given how badly they need points toward the second wildcard spot in the West. They look confused and shell-shocked when faced up against strong forechecking teams like the Flames and Hurricanes. Draisaitl had another good game, though. To start winning more consistently, the Oilers should take the body and play positionally on defense, rather than puck watch. Offensively, they should forecheck with speed and shoot a lot more. They should be able to capitalize on rebound plays now and then.

Anyone who thinks Chia gets fired before the end of the season is missing crucial brain matter.

There is no way in hell they allow him to keep signing and trading players if they are considering firing him.
