Really? Ferraro has something like 5 pts in 8 games and has been great for the Bruins. Andersson is irrelevant though, no doubt about that. Death by 1000 cuts

I guess because if 2 guys have 0 points in 10 games you waive the one that has never shown anything at the NHL level and keep the one that at least has a track record of being somewhat useful?

But I don't know. Both these guys are as irrelevant as it gets at the NHL level. Have to assume Andersson is gone soon too.

He was pretty good against TB in the playoffs.

Why did we waive him and keep Andersson again?

As someone who doesn't despise Andy like a lot of people here I have no ****ing clue why they chose him over Ferraro. Like you said Lando is better in bunch of ways, is younger, and RFA.

Also does anyone think them saying Andy>Lando is a precursor for a contract extension for Andy?

We definitely need to worry about a guy who would have been a healthy scratch on this team getting 5 points in 8 games, that's for sure.

And Quincey looked great after he left Detroit which prompted everyone to complain about what a huge mistake Holland made. Sometimes a change in scenery can do wonders for a player. It doesn't mean that player would have done the same if you kept him around. Ferraro had 1 point in 24 games with the Wings.

Drew Miller was a struggling player that was waived. We picked him up and he immediately became a really useful player, scoring 10+ goals his first 3 years with us. This stuff happens. It doesn't mean other teams are losing sleep over missing out on Miller or that we should be concerned about losing Ferraro.

He was alright but so was Andersson, and Joker has some decent playoff history to boot.

His recent play highlights that he shouldn't be a healthy scratch here. He should be on our 4th line over Andersson, which would make us a better team.
