Simulation Time!

So again I've run a simulation using the mobile app Hockey Legacy Manager 20. It's not EA or Eastside, but those would take way too long to put together and I don't want to spend that much time on this. Of course the ratings aren't perfect, but I left them as is because me messing around with it is too subjective and if I did one player I'd have to do them all. Some rosters benefit, some don't. It's the way she goes. Don't take the simulation to heart, it's just for fun.

I am quite confused by the sim results.

Team defense and commitment to two way hockey is supposed to be a massive strength of mine and so this notion that I’d score 260 goals and yet surrender 280, is likely a poor reflection of the “realisticness” of the Sim than it is on the defensive play of my team.

I never said it was ultra realistic, but you have to realize it's never going to be that way when I run it one time and post the results. There is a ton of room for error that we may not see again if I did it 100 more times. Some teams just came down to the fact your goalie had a bad year. It happens.

For you, my guess is player archetypes killed you. You don't have a great mix in game, and most of your forwards are listed as two-way, without a true playmaker on the roster.

In the end I understand not everyone will be happy with the results of a random video game. It's a game. If you're diving too much into every detail of course you'll be disappointed.

The running isn't the part that takes time, the gathering of the results and averaging/laying them out would just take way too much of my time to be worth it
