PS - You have my updated roster wrong.
if you can fix.
Thanks Buddy!

Anaheim Ducks
Why you should fly with us

Anthony Mantha (3.3m) - Tyler Seguin (9.85m) - Mikko Rantanen(9.25m)
1st Line - Absolutely Dominant line, Maybe the best line in the entire Draft, Will make up for the lack of scoring elsewhere.

Gustav Nyquist (5.5m) - Nick Suzuki (0.86m) -Ilja Kovalchuk (.07)
2nd Line - Speed and skill are the most important attributes. Kovy with his shooting and holding of the puck, while guys like Nyqvist and Suzuki retrieve it. Nice balanced mix.

Michael Grabner (3.35m)- Bryan Little (5.29m) - Brandon Sutter (4.37m)
3rd Line - Shutdown Line, Having a guy like little centering this third line is incredible, very reliable, Sutter is a solid shut down guy, one of the best PK guys in the NHL, Grabner adds retrieval and speed with experience.

Max Comtois (.8m) - Gabriel Vilardi (0.9m) - Martin Frk (0.7m)
4th line - Youth and Skill are the key here, Comtois and vilardi are young talents who have shown really well so far in the NHL, both have great skill, Frk gives them a bit of experience.

Nick Leddy (5.5m)- John Klingberg (4.25m)
1st Pairing - Puck Movement is the key here, Klingberg is one of the best puck movers in the NHL, Leddy is a balanced guy coming off a bad year.
Ben Hutton (1.5m) - Anton Stralman (5.5m)
2nd Pairing - Hutton had a role in vancouver for 40 games on the top pairing shutdown line due to injuries, he thrived in the role. Stralman has been doing shut down work for years, very reliable. Both move the puck well, both can skate.
Keith Yandle (6.35m) - Troy Stecher (2.32m)
3rd Pairing - This is Troy doing babysit work for Yandle who is a pure offensive talent, he is on here to be shelered. Stetcher has been in so many spots to balance out lines, with edler, tanev, etc, very consistent reliable player.

Jordan Binnington (4.4m)
Carter Hutton (2.75m)

Goalies - I don't have to say much really?, Elite up and coming Goalie coming off a stupidly good playoff, winning the cup. Having another great year. Will be a huge part to help out the defense.

Powerplay -
Mantha / Seguin / Rantanen
Yandle | Klingberg

This might be the best Power play in the entire League, absolutely dominant on size and puck movement.
Yandle thrives in this spot alongside klingberg, absolutely luny Power play.

Salary Cap: $79.5m
Cap Spent: $77.64m

We have a roster with no holes positionally or stylistically.

A great top 6 + top 4 D + 2 very capable goalies = Tampa 1st in the Atlantic!

We have a solid shutdown first pairing and arguably the best winger core in the league with two solid goalies to backstop the team.

I took a different approach this game. I drafted players that I believe for the line I put them on.

B. Tkachuk-Stamkos-Teravainen
This line has it all. Stamkos is one of the most deadly shooters in the game. He is flanked by a f***ing solider in Tkachuk and a creative wing who can thread the needle setting Stammer up to knee down slap shot it home and for the odd time he misses or a goalie makes an incredible save. Tkachuk is there to put the defenseman on his ass and bang home that sloppy seconds chance.
Gusev-Nelson-Anderson
Brock Nelson has really rounded into a solid player under Barry Trotz and given these wingers, I believe he can continue that progress. Gusev is an elusive playmaker with slick passing. Nelson is a big boy who can shoot. Combine those 2 and you have a player that could reach 30. Add on top Anderson (27g last season) who is willing to get dirty and work hard. This line is 2/3 BIG BOYS and 1/3 elusive. It won’t be pretty, but that’s exactly the point.
Vesey-Carter-Grimaldi
Jeff Carter is old. Jeff Carter can still score goals and play a good 2 way game. He is flanked by an untapped power forward in Jimmy Vesey and very skilled but the very little Grimaldi. While he is little, Grimaldi’s motor NEVER turns off. This line can do it all. Chip in on offense, and all play a reliable 2 way game.
Aston Reese-Boyle-Chiasson
Hello shutdown line. Good to see you. This line will piss you off, win board battles and stop you from scoring. That’s all I will ever ask for.
Giordano-Carlo
There is a recurring theme in my defensive pairs. That is compliments. All of my pairs completely compliment each other’s game. Norris level PMD meets 6’5” shutdown defenseman. Carlo can and will clear a crease. He also posses a very underrated 1st pass.
McNabb-Faulk
Compliments! McNabb is a 6’4” man with an attitude problem. He plays a shutdown role and can log a ton of ice time. He’s paired with Justin Faulk. One hell of a PMD.
Beaulieu-Moore
Nathan Beaulieu and John Moore are players cut from the same cloth. Both have the ability to play top 4 minutes when needed. Both skate exceptionally well. John Moore is better defensively and can help teach the younger Beaulieu.
Dubnyk-Allen
Devan Dubnyk is a very solid goaltender and put behind this defense should be just fine. He is having an abysmal season but that not who he is. Devan Dubnyk has 5 30+ win season and is 8th in wins over the past 5 season. My defense is designed for Dubnyk to make the 1st save and let defense do their job.
Allen is a big boy. Takes up a ton of net, and is a steady backup. He is a good platoon option with the ability to play a lot of games.

Vote for :panthers high octane offense!

Our top 8 forwards have 0.5 ppg or greater, unreal depth down the middle with our top 3 centers being way over 50% on the dot, balanced defense with high shot volume (Josi and Barrie 1st and 13th in shots by dmen), and a solid goalie tandem that worked for Calgary this season.

Vote Rangers, ask yourself how fun it would be to have to play AT LEAST 1 of Hedman, Letang or Suter in a game for 50 minutes a game, and if you somehow beat that fortress, you then have to beat Bishop or Grubauer in net.

Answer: Not fun, good luck.

I won’t give a “rah rah” speech this time to talk about my team. Use your good judgement and vote accordingly. I only want people to take the following into consideration when looking at my team:

1) My Couture Line will be used as much as possible to go head to head with the top lines of other teams to shut down and contain. I believe that this line will be highly successful in containing the top lines of other teams while still being able to produce a decent amount of offense. This then leads to my 2nd point (slight pun intended).

2) With the Couture line matching up against the top lines, I believe that my Point line as my 2nd line will be extremely dominant. Brown will provide physicality and space for the insanely talented Point and Parise while Sergachev and Niskanen will move the puck effectively up ice to provide a very dominant offense for that 2nd line.

3) Although Varlamov is listed as my number one goalie, Varlamov and Francouz will likely split 50/50 or even 60/40 depending on whom is outperforming whom in a hypothetical regular season.

Best of luck to all competitors.

We have tons of versatility with who can play in what spot in my top 9, line one is elite both ways, line two has proven producers getting to play as the second wave, line three can score in absolute bunches, and line four has two young pests along wth all three being able to produce some nice plays and slide up to line three. One of the best top pairings, and the second pair both had fantastic years and are coming into their own, finally the third pair has Johns who can easily slide up and Staal getting some of the easiest competition of his career finally. Not to mention Crawford had a great year and Reimer can be a platoon option. Not to mention we've got some massive players along with wheels in bunches.
Buffalo is built off positional versatility with guys being able to play in most spots in my line up.

Vote Buffalo

Yeah, lots of parity this time around. I will have to say though that the Atlantic division seems weaker overall than the other 3.

Rude.

I actually have it as Metro as the definite weakest.

I think both Western Division are going to be a blood bath...very little seperation between EVERY team imo
