Love the Orlov pick
Love the Orlov pick
I need a winger but I 100% would've drafted Orlov if he lasted another 15-ish picksYeah, he's real underrated.
I was debating between Keller, Hoffman, and _____ for my pick.
60/30/10 bruh not 33/33/33His career ppg puts him as a 55ish point player. He's finished seasons with 65 points, 47 points, and 51 points (pace this year). A consistent 50ish point player on an ELC at this point in the draft is real solid.

I mean you should be weighting the most recent season at 60%, the one before at 30%, and the one before that at 10% rather than taking the previous three seasons at equal weight. It's closer to 33/33/33 than 60/30/10...

Projections are more accurate that way.

A line of Zucker-McDavid-Palmieri with Gaudreau and Eric Staal behind them is scary. My D right now is also kind of scary but in a different way.
This draft is playing out a lot different than the last.. solid wingers are being taken a lot earlier than I expected.
How's everyone feeling so far?
My top six is Couturier, Tatar and Stastny, my top four is Makar and Krug, and my goalie Hellebuyck.
Shitting it a little bit now that I won't be able to cobble together enough scoring in my top six, and I don't have defensive counterweights to Makar or Krug yet either. Lots of good forwards disappearing.
That said, pretty happy with the players that I do have.
Yeah, it seems a bit more forward-heavy with less goalies/dmen taken. There's been less priority on defense this time around.
