Sabres, Kings, Complete Blockbuster

The Buffalo Sabres and Los Angeles Kings have hammered out the final details on an eight player trade. Coming back to Buffalo are forwards Jarret Stoll, Kyle Clifford, Tyler Toffoli and defenseman Derek Forbort. Heading to Los Angeles are forwards Thomas Vanek and Patrick Kaleta, along with defensemen Marc-Andre Gragnani and Mark Pysyk.

Sabres GM KTSF on the deal:

"We were hesitant in trading Thomas, but felt that this trade would set our organization up really well for the future. We expect that Jarret will become our second line centre and provide us with a strong work ethic every night. Tyler had a huge year in junior this past season and we hope that his success there can translate to the NHL. We are also shopping Jiri Hudler, Valteri Filppula, and our 1st in 2011 in order to get a better forward corps.
