Tough to move Cam, who has developed into a top tier defenceman in this league. Anaheim is deep enough on LD (Lindholm, Despres, Theodore, ect) that we could afford to mvoe Cam for pieces that will help our future. We're thrilled to add a goaltender prospect of Zach's ilk to our pipeline and beyond thrilled that we've added another top-ten pick in this years draft (along with a 2nd, which we were lacking). We chose Pageau as we feel he has more upside to his game. Calvert will bring another type of energy, he's a small player who plays big, we think his offense is underrated and he's reliable in his own zone. Anderson projects as a power forward who will likely fight with Buddy Robinson for the 4th line RW spot at the camp.

We think he will be the perfect winger to compliment Johnny Gaudreau and Sean Monahan for years to come. We also think former first rounder Derek Forbort will be given every opportunity to make the Calgary Flames. He's a hard-nosed defender who we hope will continue to grow into a stable in our bottom 4 defense pairings. confirm that deal. Toffoli was a very good player for us this season, but it was hard to pass up on the value that was offered. We have 2 players outside of the "big 3" in this years draft rated very highly, and we like our chances of getting one of those guys. Rasmus Andersson is a guy we had in the top 25 in last years draft and he's someone who's progressing very well, he will be given every chance to make our team next year. Lastly, this deal opens up the needed cap space to try and bring in a a UFA we've targeted.

The 6th pick is not untouchable, if we're able to get a young top pairing caliber dman or top line centre (obviously with adding) we'd be open to moving it..
