Every Flyers 1st rounder from the 2010s is still with the team

MY point is not winning anything of note while having draft success and retention is not any indication of organizational success.

I think it's awesome all your 1st round players "panned out". Your team is definitely good at drafting!

I don't know if it's rarer to have a team like Montreal whose 1st round picks are a complete ****show. Just take a look at this ****:

2010 - Jarred Tinordi
2011 - Nathan Beaulieu
2012 - Alex Galchenyuk
2013 - Michael McCarron
2014 - Nikita Scherbak

2015 - Noah Juulsen (always injured)
2016 - Mikhail Sergachev
2017 - Ryan Poehling (2 points in 27 games!!!)
2018 - Jesperi Kotkaniemi (8 points in 36 games!!!)

2019 - Cole Caufield

Red indicates player is no longer with Montreal
Purple indicates player is playing in AHL
Blue indicates player is playing in NCAA

How many of these fine 1st round picks play with Montreal in the NHL? None.

Ladies and gentlemen, Trevor Timmins and Marc Bergevin - Bicep Bros!

Yeah but look at them biceps...

Philly are definitely the exception to the rule for sure.

Winnipeg are right there with them, apart from Trouba who they got decent value for.

Detroit:

2010: Riley Sheahan
2011: none
2012: none
2013: Anthony Mantha

2015: Evgeny Svechnikov
2016: Dennis Cholowski
2017: Michael Rasmsusen

O'Brien will be the first gone. Dudes gonna buuuuust

Nah maybe not, we'll see :)
They only "good" thing is, if JOB does look like a bust come 2023 when his rights expire, the Flyers don't sign him and they get a 2nd round compensatory pick for him.

It's sort of nice knowing his value won't get worse than a 2nd rounder "in theory".

only 4/10 still with the team or in the system and it seems like the Predators are about to feel the effects of their asset management in the next couple of seasons.

Marc must be on TRT or other “supplements”...I don’t think you can have a physique like that at his age naturally

Vasi is Tampa's only 2010s 1st round pick in their roster right now, not a great record for them in that regard. Foote brothers are the other two in the organization left.
You got Sergachev for Drouin. I am sure no regrets there.

They Flyers haven’t won a playoff series since 2012, so maybe they aren’t good at drafting?
