The one thing a second goal does is likely reduce the amount of shithousery in the second half.

If United end up pulling within 1, the rest of the game is going to be constant whistles and time wasting and I doubt United would respond to it well which will only exacerbate things.

This leg obviously United doesn’t deserve much. But that 2nd goal just perfectly sums up how I feel about this tie overall. Dude mistimes a header and it pops off his shoulder perfectly bar down. 2 lucky ass goals last game and inside post from being down 3-0.

Obviously United has capitulated to their own fault but the luck certainly hasn’t been on their side.

Should be a fun final four. Leverkusen & Sevilla need this to get into the CL next season, while Juve & Roma are currently in CL spots (pending on-going litigation), but are within reach for both Milan clubs.

I am always astounded at the Europa League mastery from Sevilla. They always play at their best in that competition no matter their position in the standings or whoever is their coach.

Should be a good semifinal, Sevilla and Leverkusen will not make the CL through league results while Roma/Juve could be fighting for one spot, especially if Juve's point deduction is overturned

Leverkusen could still sneak into 4th...6 games left for them to make up 7 pts and jump Freiburg / Leipzig...but yeah, the EL is their easiest path to CL football next season.

Will be curious to see if Juve goes all out in this to make sure they are in the CL next season regardless of what the courts decide. With that all up in the air, they could be really desperate to win this too.
