I think their confusion stems from the fact that In Canada there's laws about what times places serving alcohol are allowed to be open, I don't think they can open before like 10am

As weird as North American prohibition-era alcohol laws can be, in Europe you wouldn't want to be wandering into a supporters' pub on match day with the main rival's scarf, so it's a trade-off

You need to be 21 to get in when they open at 6am. When they have regular hours, it's just a "regular" pub.

There's a certain extra level of bizarreness to that Can't have kids in here that early in the morning! Though clearly it's more of "if we're going to be opening for you this early, you better be drinkin the hard stuff"

He played in Portugal’s next game so he’ll be ready to watch the derby by the weekend

I disagree with Spurs being better on paper but I am always content with a point against a big 6 side. That said, I will be a little disappointed to not get 3 at home.
