I really disliked the Marie character when the show first aired. Didn’t find her as bad on rewatches though.

It never did. It has been consistently great since it started 4 years ago. I remember lots of consternation on this board when it was announced Better Call would commence in 2015. Turns out any fears over the quality of the TV prequel to Breaking Bad were unfounded - the show is nearly as good, if not the equal, of Breaking Bad.

I am hopeful El Camino will maintain the high quality of the BReaking Bad Universe.

I've watched all of Breaking Bad and all of Better Call Saul and I'll say no. BCS is a prequel to Breaking Bad and this movie takes place after Breaking Bad, so you should be good.

Regarding BCS, I think there could be a tie in with future Saul for sure.

There was a flash-forward at the beginning of last season which I won't be surprised roles into this.

No BCS is almost all a prequel to Breaking Bad. Except for 5 minute snippets at the start of every season where Saul is in the future working as a Cinnabon manager showing how shit his life is, there's nothing.

Fair choice to not watch the trailer, but fwiw, it still doesn't give much away. I really wish I could stop myself from watching trailers like that
