The pressure of being Cup favourites was too much for these poor Oilers. The entire team apart from the top line and top D pairing looks terrible. The depth of the team is very poor.
This exactly. No depth whatsoever. 2 player team.No depth past mcdavid draisaitl
D and tender suck too
Eberle wasn't as bad as they thought?
The current Oilers would be worse with Eberle tbhEberle wasn't as bad as they thought?
yeah it's clear why he has Draisaitl on his line now. Only going to hurt them in the future if they can't break them upMcDavid has taken 10 faceoffs tonight a only won one of them.
We'll see. Hopefully this is a fun thread to revive in a couple months time from an Oilers fan perspective.there's no cause for concern when it's 5 games in and your luck looks to be really bad
Yeah we'll see. They need more depth though for sureWe'll see. Hopefully this is a fun thread to revive in a couple months time from an Oilers fan perspective.
The current Oilers would be worse with Eberle tbh
McDavid will prevent this team from ever being average or below average. That said, not sure they have the pieces to actually be a serious cup contender right now.
And I've been watching this whole Sens/Oil game and Oilers do look pretty bad, but I assume its more of an off-night for them (plus they're missing Drai) than their norm.
How many goals does Mr Eberle have this year?Except Eberle can score, so not possible.
He was 7 for 10 or something going in. Sens have good faceoff men, too. He needs work in the dot but most young players do, too. I'm sure he will be an elite FO man before long.McDavid has taken 10 faceoffs tonight a only won one of them.
I don't think you'll find anyone outside of Edmonton who would call them a "good team".
Eberle hasn't scored a goal in the last 17 games. (regular season and playoffs)Except Eberle can score, so not possible.
