Manageable if true. Decent player but the fear was always he's not a guy you commit long term to, especially when you have Bear, Bouchard, and Broberg in the system.

Tyson Barrie 1st line right wing

Barrie's offensive prowess comes largely as part of being the oddman in on the rush. Which is also what kills the team that employs him defensively. I would imagine it would pretty much neutralize any advantage Barrie has offensively if he was on the wing.

Just look at his shot / goal placement versus Brent Burns the year he was transitioning.

Didn't see that tweet before I posted, but previously it was reported 5x3 and the impasse was Barrie wanted 4 years. So either we added money to get him to come up or maybe we gave the extra year to get a little less AAV. However, now they are saying 4.5 instead of 5, so I'm not sure how we won on term and AAV from what he was claimed to have wanted before.

OV was reported 10x4, ended up 9.5x5.
