Sad that anyone thinks that game was “out of control” and even if it was, that it would be considered a bad thing.
Last night was tame compared to playoff games in the 70’s - 90’s.

i suppose it doesn't matter when the hearing is. in person means there's no chance he's playing in game 3,
and at the very least he's looking at 3 games. the way DPS tends to operate, i would guess 5 to get him out
of the series entirely. and obviously they can go 6 or more if they choose.

The player is able to waive his right to an in person hearing and do it over the phone anyway. Not sure what the issue is

Lol, the only one out of control last night was that piece of shit Kadri. It's embarrassing how Leafs fans are blaming everyone except for Kadri for his rank stupidity - "it's DeBrusk's fault, it's the refs fault, it's an NHL conspiracy, wahhh wahhh"
The funny thing is I keep reading about all these dirty hits the Bruins were throwing but have yet to see any of them. Of the three questionable ones that come to mind, Pasta was penalized for his hit on Muzzin, DeBrusk on Marleau wasn't illegal in any way, and DeBrusk on Kadri was pretty obviously a case of Kadri trying to jump out of the way and then doing his best Ribeiro impersonation after.

Calling that game "out of control" is absurd. It was a physical playoff game and one guy lost in near the end. Good grief.

Leafs scored 1 goal and didnt come close run scoring two. Their PP looked terrible as well. Complaining about Debrusk wont change that.

All it means is they COULD go higher than 5 games, not that they necessarily will. It's not even guaranteed they have to suspend him at all, though they most certainly will. I think with his history, it will be in the 5-8 games area.
