Todd Mclellan hardly played him even though he looked great. If he would have played him more he might still be coaching the Oilers. Koskinen is a huge reason why Edmonton is in a playoff spot right now.

As of now Koskinen is 2nd in GAA, 3rd in Sv%, tied for 2nd in shutouts, 8th in Goals saved above average in only 17 games, 3rd in goals allowed adjusted.

He's in the top 3 in my opinion.

Totally understand what you're saying. But his post didn't imply anything but the picture. Nothing has changed with Koskinen since Dec 9th. He's performed as a top 3 and I don't think I'm way out to lunch on that.

If Koskinen is top 3 then Halak is the hands down winner without even needing the formality of a vote.
