How many points Point would have without Kucherov? How many points MacKinnon would have without Rantanen? How many points Monahan would have without Gaudreau? and so on...
If Draisaitl plays on the Oilers 2nd line its similar to play with 4th line players on other teams.
Funny, RNH produces just fine without the other 2 Cs on his line. As soon as Draisaitl can't leach off McDavid anymore he starts producing like a third liner.

Only when Draisaitl is on McDavid's line it's not close. Draisaitl in his natural role? it's close.
No it's not. Larkin is a 60 to 65 point player at best and might hit 70 in a great year. Draisaitl is a perennial 80 point player about to hit 90 plus this season. Draisaitl has a higher ceiling higher IQ and better skill set. Sorry man.

drai only hits those totals because he leeches off of mcdavid. it's well known that he can't produce points on his own so they put him with mcdavid to boost his totals. he has 3rd line production. larkin plays with significantly less talent and produces at a very good rate.

3rd line production..., such a clownish statement. Please invest in some hockey games outside of the dump called Detroit.

Would Draisatl be a 60-65 point player without McDavid? You call him a perrenial 80 point guy when hes yet to hit 80 points in his career, feeding off of McDavid. Its been shown in this thread that Draisatls production is literally cut in half when hes away from McDavid or RNH. So hes a perrenial 80 point guy with McDavid, a 40 point guy without. Larkin is on pace for 77 points, with hardly any talent on his team, being the go to guy on his line at 22 years old and youre going to say hes a 60-65 point player at best? He had 63 points as a 21 year old with hardly any help. I've already said its likely still Draisatl because Larkin has to prove it some more, but his production being cut in half without McDavid is pretty bad. 40-50 point player without McDavid this year potentially vs Larkin at 75 points without McDavid

Well to me it's pretty easy, one is a leader, one is a side kick. Ask your self this if Mc was not on the oil where would he and his team be? Can he be relied on to take charge of the team? Put the team on his shoulders? Does he make the players around him better? Or do the players around him make him better? Now hes good and I would love to have him, but for our team its Larkin and not even really close.

What's it like having four #1OA picks in 6 years and still not being able to make the playoffs?

When someone runs out of making valid points in a lopsided result, so they resort to a different topic In a desperate attempt to gain credibility.....

Umm... That's the 2nd post I've made in this thread. The first I conceded that Draisaitl was the winner.

As for changing topics, the shot was fired over your calling Detroit a dump. If you can't dish it out...

I don't understand how it's not close.
  • Draisaitl struggle without McDavid.
  • Draisaitl is not the only one who would excel playing with McDavid
  • Imagine having Larkin playing with McDavid, that speed
  • Draisaitl is defensive liability while Larkin is the superior 2way guy

Is he the Captain or ever going to be? Nope is the answer to that question. And Larkin is the next captain sorry you don't like that! And who said anything about 40 points? You clearly have no incite as to anything you are talking about. But hey you have a good day killer.

Draisaitl right now but Larkin is making it closer. Sportsnet put them at #3 and #4 in a redraft.

It'll be interesting to see how many points Larkin can put up with better talent around him. Larkin's speed is his greatest asset.
