So Dorion is looking to bring more bad players into the organization?

Boedker (1 year @ 4M) for Bozak (2 years @ 5M)?

He'd be our 1C lol. Frees up a combined 5M of cap space for St.Louis. Although, it adds 2.25M of salary to the Senators this season.

I think Bozak has a 10 team NTC and it would likely include Ottawa

I'd think Zach Sanford from the Blues could be available. Still young, 3rd line potential but he's falling out of favor in STL. Maybe a change of scenery would do something for him because he needs a serious fire lit under his ass.

Its only been a few month since the Leafs and Sens have had a complicated, head scratching trade that neither team really loves or hates.

How about a scrap heap swap?

Finding guys who have some talent, but buried on their team? Sonny Milano And Dean Kukan come to mind. Not sure what they'd want back

Not sure what the purpose of making another trade for a mediocre player will do for the team. They'll still suck regardless. Namestnikov has played well though

Behind you, look out
You are all missing the point.
We do not want your struggling RFA's. We have those.
We do not want your multi-year cap dumps. We have those.

Senators are willing to take on players that will be a UFA on July 1st that have normally been a good player but have been struggling. The point is they are trying to buy low sell high.

This would be players like;
Sam Gagner
Michael Frolik
Cody Eakin

I think this makes sense. Someone who may have had some past success and has a real chance here to get back to form while producing a better pick at the deadline for Ottawa. Let's do it.
