Whats the allure of going to Real Madrid? Is it simply a monetary situation or something else? I ask because La Liga doesn't appear to be a better league from a competition stand point compared to the Premier League.

Playing for Real or Barca means getting an automatic ticket every year to the Champion's League because La Liga is trash. And yes, qualifying for the CL means more money, or rather, failing to qualify means less money.
Also, living in Madrid, Spain vs Manchester, England...

Not IMO. ManUre pays comparable wages to it’s stars. Madrid and Barcelona are the biggest and most prestigious clubs in the world. If you have played for them you have played for the best.

Sure the league is a slight step down, but those two, their locations, the history of great players, that they’re always right there usually signing the best/most expensive players....and playing for the biggest trophies...
There’s just a mystique playing for a handful of clubs in the world IMO.

United's season is about to implode anyway. After coming out of the gates hot they've won like three games in the past two months. Olsen appears out of ideas and Lucho Acosta seems to be playing disappointed after his transfer to Europe fell through at the last minute. Oh well, United being relevant was fun while it lasted. Audi Field is awesome though.

With Luiz allegedly so keen to force through the move that he's willing to avoid Chelsea training, it seems as though Arsenal fans should prepare to see him partnering Shkodran Mustafi.
Maybe not. I read the Gunners are after Rugani to replace Mustafi. Rugani and Luiz in the middle would be very much an improvement.

I don't think Lukaku has been a prima donna about this but I could be wrong. Gunnar straight up told him his playing style didn't match the style he wanted United to play and that Rashford would be his preferred option up top this season. Can't blame Lukaku for wanting to bail in that instance.
