I never vilified punk bands for being on majors except for when I was 13-15. And the Clash were on majors from the beginning. If by sold out you mean musically then I agree. Everything before London Calling is a masterpiece. London Calling has some good ones and some duds. I don’t think I like more than 2-3 songs they did after that record.
