Before you see the light, you must die.
Apparently a Devil needs to actually be killed on a breakaway to get a penalty shot.
They'll tell us we're ineligible since the player isn't available to take it.

Legitimately 3 consecutive shots directly at the goalie. He could have just stood there and they wouldn't even have scored
The fact that we had to lose in the shootout was even worse than getting to OT and losing in the OT period.
All 3 attempts were pretty meh.
JQ's was alright, Hall and Zacha were bleh.
As much as I didn't care about this game, that no penalty shot call is really pissing me off.

Someone make a video of all the no-penalty shot calls that should have been for Hall. It's gotta be like a 5 minute clip at this point. lol
Do we even practice penalty shots / shootouts?
All of those attempts were absolutely awful, they look completely devoid of ideas other than skate directly at the goalie, do a little shimmy and then fire it directly at them from three feet away...
JQ's move actually looked reminiscent of Patty's go-to move from later in his career, that he rarely scored on.

penalty in final seconds - why not. There is no penalty for it.
SUCH BS.
An intentional penalty in the final minute of OT should always be a penalty shot.
Hynes doesn't like creativity and offense.
weren't you one of the ones crying earlier in the year when he wouldn't use guys like Zacha.
Can never win with you people.
Final 10 seconds in OT a hook/slash/hold/trip/etc. in the defensive zone should be a penalty shot.
Clearly he's telling the players to make weak shot attempts in practice.
