Sounds like Skoog and Schwindt continue to impress.
Didn't realize how big both were.

Skoog in at 6'2, 197 lbs and Schwindt is 6'4, 195lbs. Both C's, wondering if Zito won again in Tkachuk trade and kept the right Schwindt brother.
I think Cole will make it into the league as your classic middle 6 guy, versatile and has a better scoring touch. But Kai is more of a go to the net, bigger forward. Maybe a better fit for us. He's improved his skating since he was 17 and might have just as good a shot as Cole now.

Skoog sounds intriguing. I wouldn't mind signing him and giving him a try in Charlotte. Can never have too much center depth.

Kai is odd: hasn’t done much in juniors but has looked excellent in summer and preseason games for us

Blue Jay Way..
He had a decent last season. His scoring didn't take off, but he improved a lot of aspects of his game. Most notably his skating, that's what held him back from being drafted. He'd likely be a 4th liner for us anyway.
I thought he improved as the season went on. One of mississauga's best players in the playoffs.

I’ll gladly eat crow but I don’t think Samo makes the team. McCabe is gonna pump his tires, what is he supposed to say? He’s got no shot at making it?

If this FO knows anything about player development, they’ll give the kid top line and top PP duties in Charlotte.

I’m always for if he “can’t be kept off the roster” then let him play. I think he’s best in Charlotte but I wouldn’t mind him getting a taste of the show either then sent down.

I’d rather him impress and then dominate the AHL and be the first call-up, than impress and make the team and struggle or get 7 minutes a night and no PP.

Dev camp and even training camp are very different from actual NHL games. We’ll see how he does

He'll have to be one of our best players in camp. Either way it's a good problem.
