It’s amazing how obsessed Dorion is with veteran players and focuses and speaks about them so much but he cannot identify any solid ones. All his veterans are old and slow and not interested in playing in Ottawa

He's so bad but last night, he won a critical faceoff to tie the game. Beyond that, his time on the PP needs to end immeditately

I was so angry when I saw him out there with his career sub-50% faceoff.

Unfortunately, he's still among our team leaders.

Reminds me of when Cory Conacher was out there against the Habs in the final seconds of a playoff game after being benched for the third period.

Same, He was already my scapegoat when I anticipated him losing the draw to have the game end with an empty netter.

He has looked moderately improved the last couple games.

I think that the recent media availability attempting to clear the air was prompted by Dorion telling him he's untradable and there's no other options, so he's prepared to be here for the year and suck it up.

Its a 5 on 3 lol. I dont like Stepan but this one I dont really have an issue with. Is he supposed to bull rush someone?
I mean, by the end of the play i think he's on the wrong side of all 5 leafs, hard to tell from the camera angle and no context clip where he should be but I'm thinking what he did was less than ideal.

He's the least responsible for that goal out of all 3 Sens. WTF is Reilly doing
I feel bad for Zaitsev who probably did more harm than good but worked hard doing it...

Also, did Reilly even appear in a single frame of that clip? Who the heck puts reilly on a 5v3... (I suppose we have limited options)

He is the guy chasing the player below the goal line on what was essentially a 3 on 1. Baffling

Didn't even see him the first run through, all about half a second in frame...

Idk if any looks good on that one... Poor Hogberg.

The entire sequence by every guy on the ice is hilarious. It makes me wonder if we even have set plays for defensive 5 on 3 zone entries.

He's obviously not the player we were hoping to get, but he's slowly carving himself out a niche as a reliable bottom-6 & 2PP specialist.

I really don't mind having him on the team right now.

I still think he should have anticipated what was about to happen. Hockey is about more than just systems and "doing what you are supposed to", you have to be able to think fast and adapt to the play. It was obvious that both Reilly and Zaitsev put themselves out of the play and continued on like it was 5 on 5 or even 5 on 4, rather than drawing back and setting up.

Stepan, with some quick thinking, should have seen number 34 basically all alone and should have made an effort to get in his way at some point, who cares about the puck going back to the point at...that point.
