TK has a tendency to press when he's on a cold streak, and he's an emotional player who loses focus at times, especially when he's struggling, which is common in young players. So sitting him for a few minutes to let him calm down and collect himself isn't an unusual strategy.
It's a shame Patrick got hurt, because I think that line was starting to develop some chemistry, Lindblom and Patrick aren't as polished as Couts and Giroux, but they're faster, more athletic and more aggressive, and that fits TK's style of play. I think if Patrick isn't seriously hurt, a couple weeks of practice/games could get them to jell.
