Good deal for the first 2 years. Last 2 years will be a drag on cap but the AAV is so small it won't matter. I never like these long 35+ contracts but if they didnt give 4 years someone else would.

About $0.5M more than I would’ve preferred, but it’s definitely not an awful contract. It will probably be very fair for the first two years, and not so much in the last two. But as other posters have said, if the contract is structured right, it could be bought out.

Best of all, if paired with Heiskanen, it should be a better set up than with Oleksiak. Miro needs the puck as much as possible.
