In fairness, Blackhawks are also one of the first teams that need to prevent future damage to their organization. So while you might be right regarding having major issues, it could also be Blackhawks being more Strick than you would normally see, and wanting to prevent more negativity.
Very good point! Didn't really consider it from that angle.

Having said that, his statement/apology following his termination leaves little doubt that he had/has issues and I still don't believe the reward would be worth the risk of signing him at this point in time.

I actually thought he was a great influence when playing with the Habs. Now not so much.

He's too slow to be of much use to a contender. Plus his current reputation wont help in the locker room.

He's made enough to retire as a king so he should do that and enjoy life.

Little wuss can't handle the pressures of playing in an actual hockey market.

If you would rather play in a place with much better weather, much lower taxes and significantly less stress and pressure that means you're weak. You heard it here first folks.

Yes if you can't handle the pressure of playing in a large hockey market...you are weak

Yes. Absolutely.

Don't bother asking to play for the Olympics that's a huge hockey market there will be a lot of attention on you you might not like how you end up playing and how the country that you're representing feels about your mistakes...

Just go play for your small hockey market where no one really pays attention to you and you can f*** up and not a single person will notice or care.

Enjoy your warm milk

It does mean you’re weak

Toronto will sign Perry and then Bedard will request a trade to the Maple Leafs.

Perry is exactly what the maple leafs need

You could go to the finals with Tampa and no one will give a shit

Win in Toronto and you’ll have statues built of you, songs will be written and sung about you, they might add your name into the Canadian national anthem

Ya if you can’t handle being that kind of a legend for being successful, you’re weak.

Enjoy your sandals, sissy

Would olympics be higher than the NHL? I only see it being bigger if it was in canada tbh

lots of times it's in countries that don't care about hockey
