Tapered jeans are where it's at. Look great and aren't as "in your face" as skinny jeans. The Levi 502's are perfect for the stretch material too.

Definitely my go-to's
I agree.

I’m 6’4” and 245 and always wore relaxed fit/baggy jeans as a result, but I’ve transitioned to the tapered/slim fit in recent years and they are very comfortable.

One thing we want to start moving forward on is stop these comments like "Player X is stupid and a waste of life." Or.. "When player X retires, he is going to be a bum who does _____". That shit isn't necessary and it's not offensive to me in any way, but it's very disgusting to your fellow peers who may/may not have that position in life and are working out of it. These guys are busting their ass on the ice to stay in the big league and earn a very healthy life style. Laff put everything he has out there every shift. Maybe he's not good enough. That's fine to discuss. Talk about his skills. Do not make it some personal thing.

And we can say the same for ZAR who is busting his ass every shift out there to do what he can but we want to make sure we respect the human while discussing his game.

Personally always liked jeans that fit.... but tight jeans never worked for me because of the whole fabric issue:
iu

But since the invention of these stretch fabric pants (JEANS, DRESS PANTS...etc etc etc) I've been wearing jeans more than ever and not as baggy (for room / comfort) because they stretch now.

Stretch jeans (slacks... pants) are the best invention of the 2010's or whenever I first saw that commercial of sweat pants that looked like jeans but stretched. I laughed at it then, but little did I know, the entire clothing world would hard hit by stretch fabric... but for the better.

lol... why am I talking about this in the PGT? dafug

KK certainly hasn't earned an extended look on the top line so if he's not performing no reason to not try someone else who is going. He's a mixed bag so far, seemed to be building a little bit of chemistry with Malkin and then dropped off a little bit. I just wish Sullivan wasn't married to Zucker on L2, it would open up some more combinations.

I notice that Zucker and Rust are trying to do more on their own instead of deferring to Malkin. Now, is that because they don't trust Malkin, or coaches told them they need to do more on their own, or just because they have been leading the rush (finally)?

This wasn't a great game for Malkin, it seems like he forgot how to pass :\. I agree that they should try Guentzel on L2, maybe it will get them both going.

I shudder to think that McCann may do better with Guentzel and Rust, which means what for Malkin? Ugh. All right, time to get rid of those bad thoughts.

Also remember no talking about math or the side effects of prolonged math usage (e.g. ability to calculate sums, better bets at the casino, mind warping powers of prediction). Math is no laughing matter. Even as we speak, impressionable kids are checking out books on calculus or number theory.

Teddy Bleuger update:

10pts in 16
73% D Zone starts
53.8% CF

I will still fight anyone that disagrees with my boy blossoming into a top 3C.
.
Anyone that disagrees at this point is delusional. 3rd line has been amazing this season. It really has been our only consistent line from start to finish. Crosby line is doing well now.

Came to say it was nice to steal a game. Felt like a long time since they’d done that.

Stuck around to say I adapted to boot cut jeans, relaxed fit jeans and skinny jeans. I’m done adapting. I’m just done wearing pants, period.

Same on that first point...mostly the same on the latter.

I'm regular cut and I'm done trying others. Having Crosby-esque calves and a 32" waist means I ain't dying in the name of fashion. Or ever wearing shorts.

Anyway...felt really ****ing weird watching us get 2 points because of goaltending.

Usually I come into a thread and see that post and think to myself, 'damnit.... another argument or bird brained comment I missed!' and read the posts around it and try to piece what happened together....

This time I don't have to, I know who is in trouble and what they said.

Isn't that 3 games now he's done something special each game?

Goal wise I mean...

The give go get goal against the caps
The richochet dasher pass thursday night
The behind his net with isles in pursuit to the redline to pass to goal last night

I love how Marino (when he is playing his game) elevates his partner so much. It is going to be fun to watch that pairing.

Matheson is a lot like Daley, as was pointed out in the off-season. He's not a perfect player, and he's got his obvious flaws. But his skillset is something we don't have and allows a player like Marino to play to his skills.

I really don't like the idea of shoehorning or forcing an offensive role on Marino when that's not his strength at all.

I put on a skirt for V Days. My husband was positively giddy. And shoes! Not sneakers or slippers, actual shoes with heels!!! Felt like a toddler wearing her mom's high heels.

It was nice but really can't sustain that kind of lavish lifestyle.

Basically everyone on NSH is available. If we're not gonna try Zucker anywhere else in the lineup and he doesnt build any chemistry with Geno, I'd try to swap him for Forsberg or trade Zuckers for futures first.
Do you think Nashville would trade Forsberg for Zucker? You better add a lot.

KK got moved off Malkin’s line, then he was moved off Crosby’s line... I’ve seen this movie before in Toronto.

He just goes into spaz mode for spells.. not like full time Sheary and McCann spaz mode... but it’s a real thing with him and this isn’t Sullivan being a big bad meany face.

I wish I could give a concrete assessment of KK , having watched him so much in Tor, but he’s impossible to figure out.

I said after the trade I believe he’s an elite third liner and going to cause a shit storm of debates on here about what the guy is.

In the end, Pens need him to be a top six guy because frankly, he’s all they got so...

I think he's just one of those guys with the tools but very limited hockey sense/offensive awareness or whatever buzzword you want to use to be a consistent top 6 player.

He'll give glimpses of being a scorer because he's got the speed, the hands, and the shot to score in bunches. But I think his vision is limited and so he doesn't really mesh well with a particular center and doesn't think the game well enough to compensate when the open ice and being able to use his speed isn't easily available to him.

Reminds me a bit of Micheal Grabner. Depending on the bounces he's getting, could score anywhere from as low as 15 goals to as high as 30 goals, but probably will do so more as a solo threat rather than because he's clicking with his center.

After all that, the penguins are still only tied for the final playoff spot with the islanders.
Pens also have a game in hand.

Oddly enough the penguins are also tied for 3rd with the capitals (equal gp) and 2nd with the flyers, but flyers have 2 games in hand.

How does this years playoff format go?

top 4 play each other, then winner plays to be winner of their division, then play winner of other division? then stanley cup final?

I hope not. Once season is done I hope they play inter divisional games.

That would make for qualifying playoff teams to play 1 or 2 teams possibly (up to) 15 times in one year =P
