That’s bothering me too. How the hell he couldn’t make it on the horrible Wings squad is beyond me.:help:

Schmidty is a beauty

Schmidt looks very happy to be a Jet, judging by his colourful interview. Looks like quite the upbeat character - just what we need - chemistry.

I mentioned it on the Main Board as well as here & the Canucks Board. I was really hoping he would stay in Vancouver. Last Season was a mess there for the whole Team and not a fair representation of his play. I watched him closely & though he had his faults at times, he was not the problem there.

I can understand why he wanted out & don’t resent his request. The sooner JB is gone, the better & I’ll leave it at that. I’m really, really happy that Paul Stastny was able to support Nate in understanding what a good Team & situation he was coming to here.

I really appreciate positive people and Nate Schmidt appears to be one from all I’ve seen & read over the last few years.

Chem joke: What is HIJKLMNO? H2O!

Heinola is definitely not playing himself onto the roster right now.

I'm not sold and never have been on Heinola, does not play big enough or tough enough in the D zone. Very happy with our real defenseman we have now. Maybe Montreal would like him as well.

12-91-71?

Coach isn't going to play Perfetti 7 minutes a game on the bottom line. Maybe he gets closer to 10 with PP time, but I'm not sure he gets in before an injury call up.

I’m guessing Gus should be where Cole is and play Cole 30 a game on moose till replaces stas.

Yes it's not an NHL team on the other side but the depth guys who are fighting for spots are making a good case for themselves. Ironically it's the "NHL lines" on the Jets that look "low energy".

They're not going to play Perfetti 10 minutes a night, he'll be in the AHL.

The Oilers would have a good chance at last place if they ever lost McDavid.
