I'd bet that he has played his last NHL game at this point. We seem to get a lot of those guys that have their last hoorah in the league and are gone shortly after. One of Dorions coveted off season acquisitions .. Better late than never. Seems like a good guy.. not much left in the tank

Thought Reilly was worse but either is fine.

We should be able to replace that role as the year moves on and Brannstrom and Wolanin are in the lineup. Hopefully Reilly can be pushed out down the line and used as purely a PP specialist for the time being. As bad as Reilly is in his own zone at times, he does actually bring something to the table we don't really have, which is a PMD that can play the 2PP. He's also atleast trying out there. Coburn on the other hand brought nothing to the table, and was completely apathetic.
I think Reilly's gaffes were very notable, and sadly memorable, but in general Coburn was bad every shift.Thought Reilly was worse but either is fine.
The deal that acquired him was actually one of Dorion's better moves, cost neutral because we sent out two LTIR contracts, got a 2nd, and two warm bodies that could suit up for games if needed. If he had worked out as a roster player, great, if he ends up as a taxi squad guy, still better than paying Gaborik'7s deductable or Nilsson. Free 2nd.One of Dorions coveted off season acquisitions .. Better late than never. Seems like a good guy.. not much left in the tank
Pretty sure the 2nd round pick was the coveted acquisition in that trade, and Paquette to a lesser extent. Definitely not Coburn.

DJ playing him over other options is another matter.
