Ideally they have two guys that create space, and are heavy on the puck and the third guy is a shooter, ala DeBrusk.Agree with this 100%. I actually think he's very similar to Heinen, which is why I don't think they should play together when the lineup is fully healthy. Both need to play with someone who is a willing shooter and will drive to the net.
If you play them together, you'll have a solid defensive line that has quite a bit of possession in the offensive zone (and the CF% would be incredible), but you're also probably not going to get much offensive production.
However, and I mentioned it before, but I genuinely think a line of Heinen - Coyle - Backes would be effective. Possession monster, with the ability to pop a few, albeit inconsistently. That's a line that as the game goes on, and as the playoffs as a whole go on, can wear out a team due to cycle and the fact that Coyle and Backes aren't afraid to hit.
