Where's Rödin? Especially when some of these forwards could be playing in the ET playoffs for their clubs.

No Zaripov, Mozyakin or Lisin, but here you are - Perezhogin, Soin, Kokarev.
Nice job, Bill, you're stubborn man...
We need some foreign coach - who will take the best and don't have personal issues with players...

Why no Kontiola for FIN? Already made the Olympic team, or is he injured.
Not injured, and whether he's a lock is anybody's guess. In case you didn't notice, about 3/4 of the Finnish team is different from the Karjala Tournament. It's rare that any country participating to the EHT brings its best players to every leg. Finland brought its European A team to the home tournament a few weeks ago, so it was to be expected that this one is going have mostly 2nd tier players, save for a few couldn't make it back then.

In other news, Rasmus Ristolainen was supposed to play in the game vs. CZE on 19th, but has now been withdrawn. He still has some mild symptoms from a hit to the head suffered a couple of weeks back, and Team Finland's management doesn't wish to risk his participation to the WJCs.

not surprized to see a racist comment from you.

the last thing we need is a coach who has no idea about russian hockey.

and you have obviously no idea while meanwhile nearly everybody does why those players are invited and what Bill's plan for them is.

Leading scorers are not always the best option. Is that so hard to understand?
