I can understand why people include Mozhyakin into the roster. But what I can't understand - why they include Perezhogin. He is not good this season, he was bad on last EHT - but he is in, while Lisin (for example), who played very good is out.
For me, Lisin and Panarin deserved at least the last try at December. That's why, I'd try smth like this:
Kovalchuk - Burmisrov - Radulov
Popov -Tereschenko - Kuznetsov
Panarin - Tikhonov - Lisin
Zaripov - Shipachev - Mozhyakin
Varnakov

Chudinov - Medvedev
Zubarev - Nikulin
Birukov - Denisov

Barulin - Yeremenko

Mozyakin but no Zaripov??? :(
I'm ok with Mozhyakin - he has excellent season and deserved at least a try. I understand that Kuzhya is just recovered from an injury. But Perezhogin instead of Zaripov is beyond me. Bill, that's not the time for personal reasons, wtf are you doing?! :help::shakehead:madfire:
But, besides that, everything is predictable. My only hope is Perezhogin will stand home finally.

Yes, Mozyakin plays well and with Zaripov they are top scorers, so why doesnt Bill give them a chance just like Perezhogin and Popov? (or could it be that Zaripov refusing playing for Bill??)

Good to see Panarin in the list, not for the Olympics of course but for WC. I like his energi.

With this lineup its somehow a pre olympic game, playing in Sotji with fans demanding first place, so with this "pressure" for the players it can be something of value for the future olympic games.
