i'm a bad analytics guy and I could destroy Ceci. his metrics are terribleIf Ottawa has a good analytics guy on staff he could absolutely destroy Ceci in a hearing.

I love that fans of every team are flocking to the Sens defence on this one.
Absolutely. No fanbase deserves to be subject to Cody Ceci being signed for $6M/year, even for one year. None.
*In walks Karlsson*If Ceci get's even close to $6 million you might as well have a lockout right now.
This is getting out of hand.
There is a clip where he gives the puck away in the neutral zone to an opposing player without a stick. You wan't what?
He has to dust the puck off for a good couple seconds before he shoots it..... pretty much every time.. And then when he does he hits the goalie in the crest.
Still he was the last one. 2011.
Is there a video on youtube of this?
MacArthur was the last decent player who's team walked away from him.

"Ceci got $6 mil, soooo Imma need $45 mil"
*Melnyk turns to dust and blows away*
These guys are probably looking for their quickest ticket out of town anyway.Arbitration is probably the best way for Ottawa to get cheaper contracts for this season.
Unfortunately going through the process usually burns bridges so long-term they are screwed.
If arbiter goes down the middle at 4.5-4.75, does Ottawa take the contract, or release him?
Teams let RFA players walk for nothing?
So sometimes the player loses. That's fair.Granted UFA... ends up signing for $1 mil...
hope that you're not serious here... Ceci was absolutely brutal all of last year. I'd take Patteryn over him at 4.5M and Patteryn is making half that salaryI think 4.5M is probably about right for Ceci.
