At the end of the day, this was a successful season for this team. We shouldn't have sniffed the playoffs. This is another season of experience building. Yeah it sucks that NYR got the #1 pick and will probably widen the skill gap even more overall in the division, but at the end of the day just continue building and developing the young guys while these bloated contracts for 3rd/4th liners with no scoring ability continue to fall off the books to afford management some flexibility in going after high salary players.
