A) Source?
B) There is absolutely no evidence that these concerns are related. What, you think friggin Tony D is gonna stop Wilson there? Completely theoretical, and you’ve used that to justify another action completely unrelated- fighting your own goalie ain’t fighting Tom Wilson lol.

That is Tony D, man.

A) It's well known that DeAngelo chirped Georgiev and Georgiev punched him in retaliation.
B) DeAngelo was the only one showing any heart on the Rangers at the start of the season and not being complacent with losing and being made a mockery of on the ice. It manifested in an unsportsmanlike penalty and Quinn got insecure and made him a scapegoat. DeAngelo probably doesn't deter Tom Wilson but he's the type of player who wouldn't take any shit from him unlike the rest of that sad team. Now Drury is out there sacking Quinn, signing Goodrow to an obscene contract, trading Buchnevich for a headhunter, overpaying for Nemeth, etc. Basically doing everything showing DeAngelo right

Easily the best contract signed today. Wish the Jets had signed him, but that was obviously never going to happen.

You have it backwards, the goalie attacked him. And his teammates didn't sound like they wanted him gone right after going by what Zibanejad, Miller etc said, it was management.

But yeah, he was dropped by the team only for the team to later get dropped by Tom Wilson and proceed to sack their management and overpay for a bunch of pluggers because it turned out DeAngelo wasn't the reason the rest of them had no balls
Geogoriev doesn't look like a guy who would attack anyone. Any proof?

Cant wait to watch him fight a teammate and have people blame the media and PC culture for his subsequent dismissal.
If he can actually behave though he could be a important signing with Hamilton likely gone. Big gamble for sure though, if this guy has even any sense he should know that this is his last chance.

"attack" lol it was absolutely nothing that doesn't happen regularly in the NHL or impugns his character. Do Subban and Plekanec look like the type of players to fight each other at practice?

Oh and

Rangers' Alex Georgiev addresses Tony DeAngelo tussle

There was plenty of reporting on it at the time if you want to read about it

Ya I’m sure it wasn’t him fighting his teammate, damned media conspiracy.
I mean I believe in things like Political correctness and Cancel culture but with Tony I find it hard to believe that his behaviour in the locker room wasn’t the biggest deciding factor. It’s one thing to be a distraction off the ice but once you start fighting with teammates it’s hard to justify keeping even star players yet alone a mere top 4 D man.

can't wait for him to have a quiet season where he plays well and earns a better deal
